LCL Excavation's Inspiring Journey Began In 1994

Our History

LCL Excavation's inspiring journey began in 1994, founded by two visionary brothers, Luc, and Charles Levesque. The name "LCL" is a tribute to their initials, reflecting the personal touch they brought to the company.

Starting with just one backhoe and a gravel truck, the brothers soon took on significant projects, like the pipeline replacement for the now-closed Bowater Maritimes pulp and paper mill in Dalhousie.

The current Visionary/CEO, JP Levesque, grew up working with LCL Excavation and is seen in the project picture wearing a yellow hat, a symbol of his deep connection to the company.

JP's dedication has shaped LCL into the thriving business it is today, leaving a positive impact on the communities it serves.
